SPCS 24V PulseTech 24V Pulse Charge System w/ Solar Panel, 6W

The PulseTech® SPCS Pulse Charge System, with the 6.3-Watt solar panel, is ideal for maintenance of any 24-Volt lead-acid batteries in vehicles in long term storage indoors or out, when your vehicle is on the road or parked outside.  All of PulseTech’s solar panels have higher efficiency, higher quality crystalline silicon cells that pack more power per square inch and have a longer life than standard amorphous “thin film” solar cells. That means you can get the power you need in a sturdier, smaller-sized solar panel. Colored lights indicate AC charge status and battery conditioning.

The unit has the capacity to charge up to six 12-Volt batteries with groups of two batteries in series and the groups connected in parallel.

When your vehicle is in long-term storage, you can use the 24-Volt Pulse Charge System to keep your vehicle ready to go the first time you start it. When your vehicle is on the road or parked outside, the 200mA pulsing solar charger will, under normal conditions, offset the parasitic drain of the batteries. The solar panel is used to provide positive charge to the batteries when AC power is not available.

When your vehicle is no longer outside, you can take advantage of the PCS  which is ideal for indoor or under cover stored vehicles. What sets this system apart is that there is no “float” charge with the potential to destroy batteries stored for long periods of time. The charge features is either on or off so you cannot overcharge the battery. The PCS monitors the battery system condition and if the voltage drops too low, the charger will come back on. The green light indicates whether the AC power is on or off. The yellow LED is lit when the AC power is charging and is off when the charge is complete. The red blinking LED shows you that our optimized high frequency pulsing technology is active 24 hours a day to reverse the naturally occurring process of battery sulfation - the main cause of battery failure. The pulse minimizes capacity robbing crystal lead sulfate buildup.
