The PulseTech™ XC400 Xtreme Charge® 12V 4 Amp Conditioning & Maintenance Battery Charger is smart, innovative, safe, and simple to use. It goes a step above the competition by evaluating and testing all types of 12-Volt lead-acid batteries (VRLA, AGM or flooded), utilizing PULSE technology - a high frequency conditioning pulse on one circuit and proprietary charging algorithms on another. This fuse-protected, spark-proof battery charger reduces naturally occurring sulfation and makes vehicle batteries last longer without overheating or over charging. Proprietary algorithms, combined with microprocessor-controlled technology, measure the battery's voltage and current to automatically determine battery's state of charge (25%, 50%, 75% or 100%) and deliver the precise charge rate based on the size and condition of the battery.
