The PCS 12-Volt Charger Maintainer Pulse System is ideal for maintaining 12-Volt lead-acid batteries in vehicles and equipment stored indoors on a long-term basis. Colored lights indicate AC charge status and battery conditioning. The PCS reverses the normal discharge rate that occurs in unused batteries and removes lead sulfate crystals that build up on battery plates over time. This unit has the capacity to maintain six 6-Volt batteries in twelve volt sets. Power supply is reverse polarity protected and the battery cannot be overcharged.

The PCS 12-Volt Charger Maintainer Pulse System maintains and desulfates any kind of 12-Volt lead-acid battery (flooded cell, sealed, VRLA and AGM). This unit is ideal for maintaining batteries in vehicles in long-term indoor storage as it has the ability to reverse the normal discharge rate that occurs in unused batteries and removes naturally occurring lead sulfate crystals that build up on battery plates over time. As a battery ages through use or sits unused for periods of time, lead sulfate crystals enlarge and can build-up excessively to the point where they create a physical barrier across the surface of the plate. Before long, this build-up can become so dense that a battery is no longer able to accept or release energy. The PCS contains PulseTech’s Pulse Technology, which is an exclusive, patented system which cleans batteries of sulfation build up and restores them to normal operation.
What makes Pulse Technology so unique and effective is a distinct pulse waveform. This waveform has a strictly-controlled rise time, pulse-width, frequency and amplitude of current and voltage pulse. Pulse Technology removes and prevents the buildup of damaging lead-sulfate deposits on battery plates in a non-harmful way, so a battery can accept, store and release maximum power all the time.
The PCS’ control circuits prevent overcharging by automatically sensing battery condition. The PCS turns off when the battery is fully charged and turns back on again when the voltage drops too low. This allows the user to simply plug the PCS in and walk away without needing to check on the battery’s voltage level. LEDs show the status of the charger minimizing the need for operator training. The green light indicates whether the AC power is on or off. The yellow LED is lit when the AC power is charging and is off when the charge is complete. The red blinking LED shows that our optimized high frequency pulsing technology is active. This unit also has the capacity to maintain six 6-Volt batteries in twelve volt sets to allow for additional applications.
