LONG-TERM DUAL INSIDE/OUTSIDE STORAGE SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES WITH 12-VOLT BATTERIES
When your vehicle is in long-term storage, you can use the 12-Volt Solar Pulse Charge System to keep your vehicle ready to go the first time you start it. All of the solar power from the 2.8-Watt solar panel goes directly to charge and maintain the lead-acid batteries when your vehicle is on the road or parked outside. The solar panel is used to provide positive charge to the batteries when AC power is not available. All of PulseTech’s solar panels have higher efficiency, higher quality crystalline silicon cells that pack more power per square inch and have a longer life than standard amorphous “thin film” solar cells. That means you can get the power you need in a sturdier, smaller-sized solar panel.
Without the solar panel, the PCS is ideal for indoor or under cover stored vehicles. What sets this system apart is that there is no “float” charge with the potential to destroy batteries stored for long periods of time. The charge features is either on or off so you cannot overcharge the battery. The SPCS monitors the battery system condition and if the voltage drops too low, the charger will come back on. The green light indicates whether the AC power is on or off. The yellow LED is lit when the AC power is charging and is off when the charge is complete. The red blinking LED shows you that our high frequency pulsing technology is active 24 hours a day to reverse the naturally occurring process of battery sulfation - the main cause of battery failure. The pulse minimizes capacity robbing crystal lead sulfate buildup and extends the life and efficiency of the battery. The combined charge and maintenance cycles ensure your stored vehicle battery will start when you need it.
